Tips for taking care of your jewelry
- It is best to avoid chemical dips altogether. While some stones can
withstand dipping, many cannot. A jewelers' polishing cloth is the best
choice. It is easy to use and the results are long lasting.
- For cleaning bone pieces, use a small amount of rubbing
alcohol or hydrogen peroxide with a cotton Q-tip, rinse and pat dry.
- Avoid light and air when storing jewelry.
- The natural patina of age is one of the beautiful aspects of
jewelry - polishing the surface, while allowing natural oxidation over
time can add depth, dimension, and beauty to your collection.
Shipping and Handling
All items are shipped via United
States Postal Service Priority Mail for $5.00. At this time, we are
unable to accept International orders. Shipments will be mailed in
3-4 business days. Each piece is inspected before shipping to ensure
there are no defects. All purchases can be beautifully gift wrapped
with a handcrafted card for an additional $5.00.
Returns, Exchanges, and Warranties
If for any reason you
are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return the
purchase in its original condition along with the receipt within 30
days, back to Gems By Kim for a FULL refund. Please email our customer
service department with a notice of your intent to return the item.
All
purchases come with a 90 day defect warranty. If there is a defect,
please email our customer service department and they will respond
within 3 business days to make arrangements to fix or repair the defect
at no charge to the customer. This does not apply to customer-caused or
shipping damage. If customer-caused or shipping damage repair is
needed, there is a labor charge of $20.00/hour. Just email our customer
service department with the description of the damage and our customer
service department will respond within 3 business days. As with all
returns or exchanges, shipping and handling costs are at the customer's
expense.

leave the box checked in the order form which asks if you would like to

for you to opt-out of future mailings.
